Booking terms

These terms apply to direct bookings. Reservations made through Airbnb or Booking.com are governed by that platform's terms instead. TODO(handoff): confirm deposit and cancellation figures with the owners before launch.

Booking and payment

A booking is confirmed when we have replied to accept your dates and a 30% deposit has been received. The balance is due fourteen days before arrival.

Cancellation

Cancel more than thirty days before arrival and the deposit is refunded in full. Between thirty and fourteen days, the deposit is retained. Inside fourteen days, the full amount is due. We will always try to re-let the dates and refund you if we succeed.

Occupancy

The cabin sleeps 2 and may not be occupied by more. Minimum stay is 2 nights. Check-in is from 15:00, check-out by 11:00.

House rules

Smoking is permitted only on the outdoor terrace, where an ashtray is provided — not inside the cabin. No pets. No events or additional visitors without checking with us first. Fires only in the stone pit provided, never burning plastic, and never when the fire risk is posted as high. Full details are on our property rules page.

Liability

The cabin sits on a working hillside near a national park. Walking, wildlife and the access track carry ordinary mountain risks, and guests are responsible for their own care and belongings.
