Dark tile, black fixtures and hot water from a spring-fed supply. The bathroom window looks straight out over the forest.

A Nespresso machine with capsules provided and a milk frother, alongside a fridge and the essentials to prepare simple meals in the kitchenette.
Outside
The terrace is the other living room
Covered and sheltered, facing the Bucegi mountains, with Piatra Craiului rising behind the cabin. It works in a downpour and in August heat, and it is where almost everyone ends up spending their evenings.
Below it there is a stone fire pit in the meadow, with firewood included for every stay.

Fast enough to work from the terrace
Starlink satellite internet reaches every corner of the property, so video calls hold up and the view outside the laptop is better than the one at your desk.
A proper table and chairs on the covered terrace make it a genuine place to work.

Getting here
How to reach the hillside
From Brașov
35 minutes by car through Râșnov. Trains from Bucharest to Brașov take around 2.5 hours, and a taxi or rental covers the last stretch.
The last kilometre
A gravel track climbs from the main road near Zărnești. It is fine for a normal car from April to November; in deep winter we advise winter tyres and can arrange a transfer.
The hillside is quiet. Come and have it to yourselves.
